Erasmus Exchange Programme
There are a number of exchange opportunities. If you are already studying at Derby and want to study at another institution inside Europe, you can become a part of the Erasmus programme.
If you want to apply for an Erasmus exchange, there must be an agreement between the University of Derby and the abroad University in the subject area you are currently studying.
We currently have agreements with universities showed in the enclosed table.
Be active, get active
You are welcome to look for a University on your own that might suit your needs better. Once you find an institution that fills your criteria then please come and see us on the ground floor of B Block.
If you would like to complete an exchange that is outside the EU (European Union) then you will need to contact your faculty representative and they will guide you through what you need to do.
Grants and Fees
Erasmus grants are awarded for mobility taking place during the academic programme. Grants are a flat rate calculated on a monthly rate. The maximum average grant of last academic year was 630€ a month.
Whilst you taking part in an Erasmus exchange programme you will pay no extra University fees (tuition, registration, examinations...) to the host institution.
Language
If you would like to go to Universities that don't teach in English, you may need to prove a basic knowledge of the language that you are going to be taught in. We would advise you to double check the requirements prior to making your application.

All you need to do is complete the request form and email it to: international@derby.ac.uk
Incoming Students
If you're studying at another university and want to come to Derby for part of your course, just complete the application form for incoming students and email it to askadmissions@derby.ac.uk
