Mediterranean College (Athens, Greece)
Mediterranean College is a private university-college with campuses in Athens and Thessaloniki. The College offers foundation, HND, bachelor degree, executive diploma and master degree courses. Fields of study include Business, Management, Marketing & PR, Counselling & Psychology, Early Childhood, Speech Therapy, Learning Disabilities, Engineering and Computing.
Founded in 1977, Mediterranean College is the first Greek College to offer higher education courses with English as the official language of instruction.
International students have a wide range of programmes from which to choose, each of which provides a unique learning opportunity for every student.
Students can:
- Study the entire programme in Greece
- Participate in a study programme which provides the flexibility of undertaking the greater part of their studies in Greece and the remainder in the UK with a partner institution
- Participate in one of the exchange programmes or a study abroad programme where the credits earned at Mediterranean College count towards attainment of their degree qualification.
Not only does Mediterranean College co-operate with high ranking institutions, it has itself consistently received acclaim for its own quality in the delivery of studies, its management structure and services.
Mediterranean College has been certified by the British Accreditation Council (BAC) for Independent Higher Education; by the EdExcel Foundation as a centre delivering its own BTEC HNC/ HND qualifications; and by the United Kingdom's Quality Assurance Agency (QAA).

Enrolment
Students apply to Mediterranean College and enrol in October and February. Student application and enrolment data is forwarded to UoD for input into the UoD Student Records System and a letter providing login details to the University's online virtual learning environment (UDO), web links to the UDo Student Guide (inc useful contacts) and the Universities 'Rights, Responsibilities and Regulations' document along with student ID cards are sent to the students.
Assessment
Student results are considered at assessment boards that take place in March and July. The Assessment Board considers student progression and award.
Award Ceremonies
Awarding students attend an Award Ceremony held at Mediterranean College in November.
