Immigration and visas
Here's a summary of the immigration rules for entry into the UK
It's very important you comply fully with immigration rules when you enter the UK.
Make sure you contact your nearest British Diplomatic Post for advice on the current regulations, as they change from time to time.
If you're from the EU or European Economic Area (EEA)
If you're a citizen or hold a passport of an EU or EEA country, there are no restrictions on your travel to and from the UK.
You just need to have a valid current passport each time you travel.
If you're from outside the EU or EEA
If you're from a country outside the EEA you need to get entry clearance before you travel to the UK.
