Facilities

We have recently invested more than £100 million in facilities to ensure the learning experience of our students is as close to the commercial world as possible. These include:

  • Derby Theatre – Students have a major live theatre venue in the city centre to work out of
  • Clinical Skills suite - £1.5m Clinical Skills Suite is equipped with NHS standard clinical areas and the latest diagnostic and simulated learning equipment
  • Outdoor Learning centre - 58-acre outdoor pursuits centre for students to develop leadership management and outdoor activity skills
  • Working commercial Spa - students will gain valuable commercial experience working in the on-site day spa
  • Life size law courts – 350 person capacity Courtroom used for mooting and advocacy assessments, forensic science cross-examinations and expert witness training sessions
