Why choose this course?

- It's the only course of its kind in the country.
- It's designed to give you the skills and knowledge to pursue a career in health and spa management.
- You'll be based in our purpose-built spa facility, which has recently been refurbished, in the beautiful spa town of Buxton.

About the course
In the first year, you will be introduced to the management concepts that you will need to organise a spa business. You are given the opportunity to develop these managerial and practical skills as the course progresses.
The course offers hands on practice of Western massage techniques and the Eastern philosophies of massage. You'll be continually working with paying customers in our commercial spa, so there are always opportunities to develop and apply your newly acquired skills.

How you're assessed
You'll be assessed by written assignments, practical assessments, presentations and exams.
Work placements
You'll have the opportunity to work in our commercial spa throughout your course, to enhance your professional development.
Anything else?
There may be some extra costs on top of your course fees for things like your professional uniform, and optional visits to exhibitions.

- Part time: £270 per single module (you usually take 24 of these modules in total)
International students
