Illustration
Illustration is all around us, in books, newspapers and magazines, in children's stories, in advertising and packaging. On our Illustration course, you'll be encouraged to discover your own personal approach through lots of drawing, printmaking and experimental image making.
You could join the thriving community of artists, designers and makers who have businesses at the University's Banks Mill Studios. As well as providing workspace, we provide business support activity including one-to-one advice, workshops, seminars and bi-annual Open Studios.
National Competition
Pippa Curnick from our BA (Hons) Illustration course was successful in the London Transport Museum and Transport for London Cycling Poster Competition. Using her skills already acquired on our course, her work is now in the London Transport Museum - on show to thousands of home and international visitors.
