Moira joined iCeGS in November 2011. Moira has worked as a consultant at a policy and strategic level in vocational learning for more than 13 years. Her experience covers a wide range of diverse projects and contracts across the public and private sectors including employers, sector skills councils, regional and national and international development agencies and learning providers. For the Home office she led on transforming the way in which police officers are trained in England and Wales with the development of the innovative Initial Police Learning and Development Programme (IPLDP). She worked with the Singapore Workforce Development Agency were seeking to develop a Competency Framework for the creative industries, including Competency Map and Workforce Skills Qualifications Framework for Creative Industry professionals. For Screen Yorkshire and Yorkshire Television she carried out a research and feasibility study to explore how network television and TV production companies could extend and better engage with a BME workforce leading to the Foundation Placement Scheme which has now been rolled out in other ITV companies.
