John has worked for iCeGS since 2004. During this time, he has led the development of the iCeGS information service and the National Library Resource for Guidance (NLRG)  providing search, find and support services to practitioners, researchers, students, employers and trainers throughout the UK and further afield.  He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the information service including: carrying out literature searches, creating and editing  the iCeGS website, iCeGS policy and research briefings, overseeing enquiries  and developing the contemporary and historical library collections.

John has over ten years expereince carrying out literature reviews for various clients, including LSIS, Career Cruising, Pearsons and CFE where he carrys out reviews on a weekly basis.

John's extensive previous library experience includes roles in academic, specialist research and public libraries. John is a History Graduate, holds a Masters Degree in Library and Information Studies and is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP).
