The Blueprint for Careers
16 October 2012
iCeGS have recently been working with the Career Development Centre here at the University to test out the Blueprint for Careers with undergraduates. The project helped undergraduates to assess their personal confidence in developing career management skills and how they felt their programmes helped them to develop and enhance their skills.
The project was funded by the Institute for Learning Enhancement and Innovation at the University to support students in developing their employability skills.
Siobhan Neary (Principal Research Fellow, iCeGS) and Celia Beizsley (Career Development Centre Manager) recently presented a paper about the research project at the DEHEMS Second International Conference: Employability of Graduates & Higher Education Management Systems, Ljubljana, Slovenia. A copy of the paper can be downloaded from here.
