Learning for Living Project
30 November 2011
Nicki Moore, Bill Law and Geoff Bright recently represented iCeGs at the European partners meeting for the Learning for Living European funded project in Salsomaggiore in Italy. The meeting was a great sucess and the UK team have returned with renewed enthusiasm to this project which has established both momentum and direction. The UK team are pleased to have made a significant contribution to the project during the meeting in Italy which has:
- established widespread agreement that storyboarding has a place in guidance practice, but particulalry in certain situations and contexts and with particular groups of clients
- considered the need to further explore the application of storyboarding in a multiu-agency setting, particualry in conjucntion with the common assessment framework and to 'team around the child' approaches in the UK
- proposed further discussion and exploration about the potential of 3 scene storyboarding as a digital tool which could be used in a range of settings.
The UK team have returned with a range of actions including the commitment to produce learning outcomes for a training programme for practitioners wishing to develop expertise in 3 scene storyboarding.
The next meeting of the partners will be in Romania in April 2012.
