Preparing for and then studying abroad is a great way to develop your confidence and your skills. Dealing with visa controls and settling in to a new country can be a challenge, but it's a rewarding one.
In your second year at Derby you can study and travel around the USA. You could study for a full spring semester, and you could also stay on in the States for the remainder of the summer. Going to the USA has proven to be an exciting and gratifying experience, allowing you to gain new friends, new ideas and the enthusiasm to complete your degree.
Places you can go on the exchange include Michigan, Indiana, New Hampshire and Virginia.
