After completing this course you will:

- See how Equality & Diversity can help the University to develop strong relationships and positive behaviours, to help us achieve our overall goals.
- Understand your rights and responsibilities as a member of staff at the University.
- Become more familiar with Equal Opportunities legislation.

- The Public Sector Equality Duty
- Age and ageism
- Disability and reasonable adjustments
- Gender Reassignment
- Pregnancy and maternity
- Race
- Religion and Belief
- Sex - including pay discrimination
- Marriage and civil partnership
- Sexual Orientation
- Harassment and Bullying
- Stereotyping and prejudice
- Consequenses of getting it wrong
- Your role as a member of staff
There are two interim quizzes within the course and a final end of course quiz.
