LGBT Group Action Plan 2012

  • Research procedures for homophobic bullying for staff and students at the University and, if necessary, make recommendations for improvements to Equality and Diversity Committee
  • Produce guidance for staff and students on what to do if experience homophobic bullying and for managers who receive reports of homophobic bullying
  • Ensure LGBT is included in the equality staff development framework
  • Continue visual awareness raising events - Gay History Month, IDAHO, Diversity Week
  • Joint other LGBT networks locally and nationally and attend community events
  • Review and act on Stonewall recommendations
  • Raise visibility of the LGBT Action Group
  • Increase membership of the LGBT Action Group
