Nursing has been featured joint third in the Sunday Times Good University Guide. This rating reflects our success in the National Student Survey, where mental health nursing achieved a score of 100% and adult nursing 92%.
We still have places available to start Adult Nursing at our Chesterfield Campus on 26 February. It's not too late to apply.
Our nursing graduates currently have a 100% employment rate which is testament to the commitment of our academic staff. The high quality teaching, dedication and support given to every nursing student is invaluable.
Our excellent rating is also due to the strength of our partnerships, which include the NHS Trust. These partners work closely with us and provide excellent placements for our nursing students. This ensures that we produce nurses of the highest quality who have received relevant practice in their field. We have also recently signed a partnership agreement with Chesterfield Royal Hospital which formalises the existing strong working relationship between us and the Hospital.
We first offered Nursing in 2004, and have grown substantially since then. We now offer a pre-registration degree in Nursing (Adult and Mental health) and a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses for post-registered nurses.
