Our Learning Beyond Registration (LBR) provision is designed to meet your needs and provide opportunities for the further development of your skills and knowledge in health and social care.

The modules are flexible and designed to fit around your life and work patterns. You can choose to study online, by distance learning or attend taught classes at Derby or Chesterfield. Whichever way you choose, you can be assured you'll be fully supported throughout your studies by our team of academics who are qualified and practising professionals.

Which module is right for you?

You can choose from a wide range of modules to suit your interests and career aspirations, whatever level you're at in your career or training.

  • Level 6 modules are for qualified nurses holding an Advanced Diploma in Nursing.
  • If you're already qualified to bachelors degree level, you can select from our Level 7 masters modules.

Funding your study

If you are employed by the NHS in the East Midlands then you may be eligible for fee-free access to our LBR modules and/or programmes. You will need to supply evidence of approval from your line manager and Trust Education Lead when you apply
