Health workshops
We are hosting a number of workshops on various dates throughout 2012/13 to help you to enrich your professional development.
We are committed to CPD and keeping the workforce up to date with new skills and knowledge of the industry. That's why we are working with the health authority to ensure that our workshops are industry specific and relevant to enhance your career.
This year we're running a series of End of Life courses. You dont have to take part in all of the workshops, but as they are linked through an 'End of Life' theme, there is the option to do so if you wish.
We're also running a number of workshops focused on varying aspects of health and social care throughout the year, so please keep checking this page for the latest information.
'End of Life' Workshops
- Palliative Care - Starts 31 January 2013 (12 half days), free of charge
- Tissue Viability in End of Life Care - 14 December, 28 January and 25 February 2013 (1 full day), free of charge
- Communication in End of Life Care - 28 November, 19 December, 7 February (1 full day), free of charge
Other CPD Workshops
- Verification of Death - 12 November 2012 or 28 January 2013 (9.15am - 5pm), £200
- Community Nurse Prescribers CPD Workshop - 28 November 2012 or 4 December 2012 (2 half days), free of charge
- Promoting the Emotional Health of the Child and Adolescent - 27 February 2013, 20 March 2013 and 10 April 2013 (three full days), free of charge.
