Many of our students find that a pocket radiographic positioning book is helpful while on clinical placement. There are a few on the market but they can't be considered replacements for the essential positioning book as they don't have sufficient depth of information. Students report the following book to be useful:
- Sutherland, R. (2007) Pocketbook of Radiographic Positioning. Churchill Livingstone
You can create your own pocket book by using a small notebook and you'll also be provided with an iPod to take on placement which will contain video clips of radiographic positioning.
