Our halls in Derby are ideally situated near to the city centre, and they're close to beautiful Peak District countryside too.
Friar Gate in Derby
Our rooms are located in flats of between four and eight bedrooms
And you'll have a choice of either standard or en suite rooms.
Standard rooms contain a bed, desk, wardrobe and telephone. And you share a shower room.
Standard plus rooms are similar to a standard room but with a TV lounge in the flat.
En suite rooms have their own toilet and shower facilities, a bed, desk, wardrobe and telephone.
Each flat has its own kitchen with a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, table and chairs, and some kitchen utensils.
Very reasonable rates
Non student visitors
- Rooms available from £20.75 per night plus VAT if applicable (minimum stay: two nights)
Student visitors
- Rooms available from £11.58 per day (minimum stay: two nights)
Student visitors will also need to pay an advanced booking payment. This is an advance on your first rental payment and secures your booking.
Already living in halls?
If you're already living in halls, you'll move to our summer hall when it's ready. The summer halls for 2013 is Lonsdale Hall. All balances and debts must be cleared before you can be a summer stayer. Before you move you'll continue to pay your current rate for your room. Your original advanced booking payment will cover you for your extra stay over the summer.
