Satisfaction survey findings

420 residents from halls in Derby took part in this survey, which was anonymous so students could feel completely comfortable to say whatever they liked about halls.
Overall satisfaction:
72.9% were either very satisfied or satisfied with halls in general.
Satisfaction with different aspects of the service:
83.1% were either very satisfied or satisfied with the attitude and helpfulness of staff at halls.
83.8%.were either very satisfied or satisfied with security at halls.
75.5.% were either very satisfied or satisfied with the way maintenance issues were resolved in halls.
74.3% were either very satisfied or satisfied with the cleaning service at halls.
63.4% felt that halls gave good value for money
A warm welcome
90.2% said they received a friendly and warm welcome on arrival.
Improving service
The survey asked for both quantitative and qualitative feedback and has formed the basis of an action plan to continually improve the service in halls.
