Summer 2012
Derby halls
If you know in advance that you'll be staying in Derby over the summer in 2012, choose Lonsdale Hall. Otherwise you'll have to move halls for the summer.
Buxton Halls
If you're staying in Buxton, you'll stay in High Peak Halls over the summer, but you may have to move to a different flat.
If you're going to be arriving late, please give us at least 48 hours notice, otherwise we will have to charge you for the days up until you arrive.
If you're a registered UK or recognised overseas student in further or higher education, it costs:
- £11.03 per day for a standard room, these are only available in Derby
- £11.71 per day for an en suite room, these are available in Derby and Buxton.
Plus a non refundable booking fee that depends on how long you'll be staying:
- £25 for stays of between three and 28 days
- £65 for stays of over 28 days
- No booking fee if you're already in halls
We'll contact you to confirm your room details and joining instructions. We'll also send you your letting agreement to confirm the amounts you need to pay and the due dates.
If you're only staying for a short period, you'll need to pay us by credit or debit card before you move in.
If you're staying in halls next year too, you'll have to move in to your own room before Welcome Weekend.
