Once you've moved in and made your room more homely, there are lots of things to get sorted.
Concerned about the environment? Want to make-sure you are being green?
You'll be keen to get to know the local area too, and find out where the local supermarkets, pubs and sports centres are.
You'll have lots of chances to socialise and meet new people
It's great fun living in halls.
Try to take part in as many activities as you can, and visit The Academy, our Students' Union bar - it's a great place to make friends.
It's quite natural to feel anxious and homesick at times - many other people will be feeling the same.
And sometimes you may not get on with your flatmates - it's best to resolve disputes as soon as you can.
And you can have your friends from home to stay
So they can meet your new friends too.
What happens if things don't go to plan?
