Parking at your hall
There are limited car and motorbike parking spaces at each of our halls of residence.
We'll email a Car/Motorbike Parking Permit Application Form to you with your offer of a room. Make sure you complete it and return it to us as soon as possible to reserve your parking space.
From September 2012 your annual parking permit will cost £250 for a car and £125 for a motorbike.
If you don't have a valid parking permit, you won't be able to leave your car or motorbike in your hall car park.
If you're a disabled student you may be given priority and have your payment waived.
Parking on campus
It's unlikely that you'll be able to park on campus, so we advise you not to bring your car/motorbike unless it's absolutely necessary. Find out more about student car parking.
There's a good university bus service around Derby.
In Buxton, the halls of residence, town centre and campus are all really close together.
Bike storage
Bike storage at halls is free of charge to encourage cycle use. Contact your hall manager for further details.
Canoe storage
If you're living in High Peak Halls in Buxton, you can store your canoe in the bike shed. It costs £20 each year.
