Advanced booking payment
You need to pay this when you apply
When you apply for a room in halls you must pay an advanced booking payment of £100. This is an advance on your first term's rent and is needed to secure your booking. The £100 is then deducted from your first instalment of rent.
Once you have signed your letting agreement, if you do not then take up the accommodation or if you terminate the agreement before the end of the contract, Student Living will retain a minimum of £50 in administration costs.
If you have a conditional offer and don't get the grades you need to come to Derby, don't worry, please contact us so we can refund the full amount of your advanced booking payment.
We may turn down your booking if we don't have any rooms available when you apply. If this happens we'll refund your advanced booking payment in full, as long as you are not in debt to us.
