Booking your room with a manual application

At certain times of the year we may need you to apply with a paper application form which you can print off and return to us.

Booking your room online 

  • Check your computer is OK to use our system by reading our system requirements.
  • Turn off your 'Caps Lock' key and any language software programme you may be using.
  • If you're already registered as a full time Derby student, you'll need your nine digit EMPLID number to apply for your room. This is your student identity number - you can find it on your student card, or on the letters you've received from us.
  • If you're a new Derby student, you'll need your UCAS application number. You'll find this on the letters you've received from us.
  • You'll need to leave two or three days between accepting your place at University and applying for your room in halls.
