Applying for a room

Rooms currently available at Derby and Buxton.

Make sure you've decided where you want to live and what type of room you want before you start your application.
You'll be able to submit four choices, and can choose to live in a single gender or mixed gender flat. (Remember single gender flats can still have visitors of the opposite gender.)

At certain times of the year we may need you to apply with a paper application form which you can print off and return to us.

Check your computer is OK to use our system by reading our system requirements.
Turn off your 'Caps Lock' key and any language software programme you may be using.
If you're already registered as a full time Derby student, you'll need your nine digit EMPLID number to apply for your room. This is your student identity number - you can find it on your student card, or on the letters you've received from us.
If you're a new Derby student, you'll need your UCAS application number. You'll find this on the letters you've received from us.
You'll need to leave two or three days between accepting your place at University and applying for your room in halls.
