The University Court and Chancellor
The University of Derby established the University Court in 1995. This is a forum for the critical and supportive friends of the University, which meets three times a year to discuss issues and developments at the University.
The University appoints a Chancellor who presides at meetings of the Court. The inaugural Chancellor was Sir Christopher Ball MA HonDUniv HonDEd FRSA.
