Publication Scheme
The University of Derby Publication Scheme has been organised in line with the Information Commissioner's Model Publication Scheme for Universities and is effective from 1 January 2009.

Financial Resources
The Finance Department is responsible for providing advice on financial matters and implementing necessary financial strategies.
Information that may damage the institution's commercial interests is exempt from the Publication Scheme.
» What our priorities are and how we are doing
The Quality Enhancement Department is responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of the University's procedures for the approval and on-going evaluation of programmes of study, including arrangements for internal review, and the appointment of external examiners.
The Department co-ordinates and guides preparation for external evaluations such as QAA developmental engagements and audits as well as inspections for Further Education provision.

Governance
This section covers information relating to the way the University of Derby is governed and how decisions are made. It includes information on the legal status of the institution, which individual members of staff or groups within the organisation is responsible for, specific functions and where they fit in the overall structure of the organisation.
In some instances information will be exempt from disclosure where it contains personal information; information that may damage the commercial interests of the institution or that may threaten the health and safety of specific individuals.
