E-learning Benchmarking

In autumn 2006, the University of Derby engaged in the HEA/JISC phase 1 e-learning benchmarking exercise to understand to what extent online learning is embedded in learning and teaching practice. The findings demonstrated that although we have excellence practice in certain areas there remains a lack of uptake of online learning by staff, despite a growing student demand.
