Environmental Policy
The University Corporate Plan includes a commitment to manage our environmental sustainability and in support of this, senior management including the Vice Chancellor Prof. John Coyne, fully endorse our Environmental Policy (PDF, 347 kb)

Environmental complaints
If you have a complaint about an environmental issue within the University, please contact the Environmental Manager on ext 1093.
Depending on the level of severity, the complaint will be recorded and investigated using the University of Derby Complaints Procedure.
Environmental incidents
If you witness an environmental incident within the University, please contact the Environmental Manager on ext 1093
Environmental incidents include accidental/uncontrolled releases of liquids or gases which present a risk of damage to the atmosphere, water, land or the wider environment. All environmental incidents will be recorded on the incident log and investigated to identify what went wrong. Any improvements identified through this process will be implemented to prevent the situation happening again.
