General and Academic English 2
You will further develop your English language skills and the skills you need to do well in your course.
When you've completed this module you will be able to:
- write more clearly and accurately for academic purposes
- listen and contribute to discussions and debates
- write an essay on a controversial topic
- undertake a minor research project of your own choice, involving the design of a questionnaire and/or structured interview
- present an oral and written project report.
You'll be encouraged to take part in all the activities. We will help and support you so you will feel free to express your opinions and explain your ideas on a range of topics and themes.
