We've got a lively and growing postgraduate community of over 60 research degree students studying for MPhil and PhD research degrees.
You can take a research degree full time or part time.
Or, you can study by distance learning, with the support of an approved supervisor, near to where you live.

We integrate our research findings into our other activities, including our commercial research and consultancy, academic courses, vocational training, and the professional development of our students.
As a research student, you'll be based in one of our research centres or groups, but you'll be able to draw on expertise from throughout the Faculty's many interdisciplinary areas.
