Sociology taster sessions
Taster session
Do you have a group of budding sociologists amongst your students or are some of your students thinking about studying sociology at university?
Our sociology academics are available to come into your school or college and deliver a tailored taster session. Session topics include:
- religion and society
- moral panics and the media
- gender and/or sexuality
- social inequalities.
Each visit will include a question and answer session about studying sociology at Derby and will be tailored specifically for your Year 12 and 13 students. The sessions will also be suitable for complementing your students' current sociology studies. Each session will be an hour long.
