You could get up to £1,200 from us each year
At Derby, we offer generous bursaries, if you join us from one of our local Partner schools or colleges, you'll receive £400.
Check if your school or college is a partner.
Our course fee for September 2010 and January 2011 are:
- £3,290 a year for all full time undergraduate courses
- you can also study part time
With some of our courses there may be a small extra cost for things like uniforms, fieldtrips and materials.
You'll also need to think about other costs too. They can include things like;
- accommodation - if you're living away from home
- food
- travel
- clothes
- socialising
Help to pay for all this
You may be able to:
- take out a tuition fee loan
- apply for a loan to help cover living costs
- apply for a maintenance grant
- get an extra £1,250 a year from us on top of all that.

When and how to apply for loans, grants and bursaries
You should apply for your loans and grants as soon as you've applied for your course - don't wait for a firm offer. You can:
- Apply online at www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance
- Or you can contact Student Finance England for a paper application form.
Application forms are usually available by the December in the year before you're due to start.
