Teaching in the lifelong learning sector
Do you want to join the teaching profession and join the Lifelong Learning sector, including post compulsory education and training, adult and community education?
You may already be working in the lifelong learning sector but without the necessary qualifications for a full teaching role. By taking some of our Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector courses you can gain Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) status to give you the extra roles and responsibilities at work.
You could become a teacher, trainer or tutor in one of the following:
- Further Education Colleges (possibly Sixth Form Colleges)
- Adult and community learning
- Work based learning
- Training providers
- Public and uniformed services training
- Prison Service.
