Teacher Training
- Tax-free bursaries of up to £20,000 are available for top candidates starting in 2012/13.
- All courses deliver over 1000 hours of training. Behaviour management is compulsory.

- PHYSICS: Physics candidates can apply for an IOP scholarship of up to £20k. New physics with maths courses are available.
Employment Prospects

- Teachers begin on an average starting salary of £22,800. This compares favourably with average starting salaries for other graduate jobs which are between £17,720 and £23,335
- Teachers are seeing their salaries rise by an average of 30 per cent during their first three years in the job.
- Head teachers earn between £72,752 and £112,181.
- Teachers are twice as likely to be in management positions 3.5 years into their career, compared to fellow graduates (9% teachers, 10% science, 9% accountants, 6% legal)
