Professor Steve Chin
Steve is a Visiting Professor in Special Educational Needs. He has spent over thirty years of working and researching in special and mainstream education. In 1986 he founded and then developed a specialist secondary school for dyslexic boys, which won several major national awards.
Steve has written a range of materials for maths, including books, worksheets, a test of thinking style, and many papers. His book The Trouble with Maths, won a major SEN award in 2004 and More Trouble with Maths has been translated into Norwegian.
Among his forthcoming publications is an edited work, an International Handbook on Maths, Learning Difficulties and Dyscalculia (Routledge 2014).
