About the course

If you want to teach in the lifelong learning sector in areas such as post compulsory education and training and adult and community education, this course is for you as it will provide you with a Threshold Licence to Teach.

You'll explore learning, teaching and assessment strategies and the concept of the lifelong learning sector.

At the start of the course you'll take part in an initial assessment, which will help us to develop an individual learning plan with you to make sure that you get the most out of this course. This will form the basis of your Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

You'll be allocated a tutor at the University to oversee your development and support you throughout your studies.

You'll be assessed using your coursework and a 15 minute micro-teaching session. There are no exams.
