Creating Positive Environments Conference 2012

On Saturday 23 June we held a conference exploring the challenges and benefits of various environments within the Early Years Environment

Our superb key note address was Alistair Bryce-Clegg who delivered a fabulous insight into 'Continuous provision. We held three fantastic workshops on environments; indoor, outdoor and emotional.

  • Indoor - Sue Gascoyne - Nursery World 'Trainer of the Year' (2009), Sue delivered a lively workshop introducing the importance of children's senses.
  • Outdoor - Inspirational trainer Ben Kingston Hughes delivered an outdoor workshop and explored what makes a truly enabling outdoor environment
  • Emotional - the BRILLIANT Andy Whitaker ensured we were "mood groovers" not "mood hoovers"
