Sarah Gower-Jones
Sarah is an energetic and dynamic professional with a strong track record of leadership, having been both a deputy and acting head teacher. A key part of Sarah's job is to write and deliver training to Early Years Practitioners.
Sarah supported the first daycare setting in the country to achieve the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) as part of a group of 5 settings who worked towards the award as a pilot. The Award enables settings to develop, improve and embed good parental engagement for the benefit of the children.
The feedback from the settings was so positive that the LA funded a further 12 settings to work towards the award with Sarah's support. These settings range from full daycare providers, and maintained nurseries to pre-schools with charitable status.
Sarah is currently working with these 12 early years settings and 9 primary schools to support them with LPPA.
