Special Educational Needs Research Cluster (SENRC)

This cluster's aim is to consider special educational needs (S.E.N) in ways that both include and move beyond established perspectives and facts associated with the category. Consideration of ways in which other disciplines might cast light on the area of S.E.N. (for example, in fiction) will be welcome. Practitioners' experiences across the S.E.N. "zone" may be usefully drawn on, too, for example in connection with acute autism or literacy problematics such as dyslexia. It is intended that the cluster will encourage and generate debate about current research and potential future work. The cluster will work in an international context for the discussion of research and ideas across a variety of cultural contexts.
