By studying our PGCE Primary course, you’ll be taking the first step towards an exciting career in teaching. We’ll prepare you for the practical demands of teaching and you’ll gain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), so you’ll be ready to start your first teaching role when you graduate.
Our PGCE Primary course gives you the opportunity to:
- gain hands-on, practical experience in local schools
- become a creative classroom practitioner, enabling you to meet the wide range of children’s learning needs
- specialise in Early Years (3-7 year olds), Primary (5-11 year olds), or Later Years (7-11 year olds).
Where will it take you?
PGCE Primary prepares you for an important and satisfying career in teaching, where you will be able to positively impact children’s learning and development. You’ll graduate with 60 credits at masters level, so if you wish to continue studying, you’ll be able to fast track to stage two of a masters degree.
