90% of a child’s critical brain development happens by age five. By training to lead the Early Years Foundation curriculum, you’ll become a specialist in early childhood development and play a vital role in ensuring children from birth to five get the best start in life.
Our BA (Hons) Early Childhood Studies with Early Years Teacher Status (0-5) course will equip you with the skills to make a positive difference to children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
This course gives you the opportunity to:
- gain the professional status of EYTS alongside your undergraduate degree
- develop the skills to become a graduate leader of practice in the early years sector
- explore how children develop intellectually, emotionally, and socially.
Where will it take you?
You’ll be qualified to lead the Foundation Stage curriculum within early years settings, such as day nurseries, children’s centres, or academies. You may also consider community roles within the early years sector, such as a family support worker or working alongside health visitors supporting parents.
