PGCE Post 14
Train to teach at Derby
Our PGCE Post-14 will equip you with the skills to help over 14s realise their potential in sixth forms, colleges and the further education and skills sector.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Study on a course that was rated ‘Outstanding’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection
- Develop your skills through a combination of practical teaching experience and theory
- Choose an optional specialism in English: Literacy, Maths, Sport*, Engineering* or teaching learners with disabilities.
This course will thoroughly prepare you for the practical demands of teaching in the FE & Skills sector. It will enable you to apply for Qualified Teacher of Learning and Skills via the Education and Training Foundation (formerly the Institute for Learning) when you graduate.
