University of Derby Dissertation Question Time

Dissertation Question Time is a compilation of clips from two panel discussions that aimed to answer some of the worries and concerns that students told us they had about their dissertation/independent studies.

We found a number of students who felt quite worried and daunted by the dissertation/independent study, because they had not done such a large piece of independent research work before. The questions featured in the videos were submitted to us by students, and the panels' answers aim to give you a generic but thorough introduction to many aspects of such projects, as well as giving tips for success from those with experience in this field.
