The ‘Showtime’ concept for our Degree Show 2008 marketing and promotional materials was designed by final year BA (Hons) Graphic Design student, Ben Edwards.

Our Degree Shows are about celebrating the dedication and talent of this year’s graduating designers and artists. We are excited that for the first time our shows exhibited entirely from our new Markeaton Street building.
The exhibitions kicked off with a private view evening on Friday 30 May, which was officially opened by Debbie Williams, Chief Executive of EM Media.
The Degree Shows were open for public viewing from Monday 2 June - Wednesday 11 June.
The annual Graduate Fashion Show also took place at the Assembly Rooms and we were delighted that Marks and Spencer Executive Director of Clothing, Kate Bostock, was the special guest who will officially opened the evening performance. Kate studied Art and Fashion at Derby before she embarked on her hugely successful fashion career.
Dates for 2009:
- Graduate Fashion Show: Thursday 4 June, 1.30pm and 7.30pm
- Schools and Colleges day: Thursday 4 June
- Private View evening: Friday 5 June
- Public View: Saturday 6 to Saturday 13 June
