Derby is easily accessible, in the centre of the country, about 1 hour's drive north of Birmingham, 1 hour south of Sheffield, an hour east of Stoke-on-Trent and 30 minutes west of Nottingham.

Travelling by car

Visitors travelling by car can park at our Kedleston Road site, which will cost £1 for half a day or £2 all day, and catch the No.4 shuttle bus to Markeaton Street. Or at Markeaton Park which is a pay and display car park a short walk from our Markeaton Street site. See online map

The University Bus Service -"Unibus"

The University operates a network of distinctly marked 'Unibuses' throughout the city.
Unibus 6 stops opposite the Railway Station. Passengers should cross the road and wait at the bus-stop marked 'Unibus'.

Unibus 6 also stops at Derby Bus Station.
