That is because we asked our industry partners to help us design it - both regional and national employers.
We listened carefully to what specific skills and knowledge they said they would expect MBA graduates to have, and then improved our MBA to deliver exactly those.
Employers invest in the Derby MBA
Large companies like Citibank and Marley Eternit have recognised the value of the Derby MBA - they asked us to deliver an in-company programme for their employees, and we've been doing so very successfully.
A high proportion of individual students are also sponsored by their employers - large, small, public, private, product based or service.
This just goes to show how much these organisations feel they benefit from having MBA-qualified employees, and how much they are prepared to invest in the University of Derby and the Derby MBA.
