Why I choose to study
I choose to study a masters in management to give me a competitive advantage in the job market and help propel my career forward. The masters degree will further my understanding of business and how best to use academic theory in real world situations.
The qualification will challenge and change my way of thinking in relation to business and real world environments and give me real world skills to use on a day to day basis.
A relevant course
The course is relevant and interesting and covers a wide range of topics which are both interesting and useful, which can be used in future employment and to further my knowledge. I have covered a wide range of topics from marketing, management, strategy and human resources to operations and information systems. All these topics are engaging and stimulating and they are important factors in a business environment.
The residential
I have been on the residential which was fantastic because it allowed me to make plenty of new friends and gain a deeper understanding of different cultures. We are put in different situations which give you an understanding of working in real world environments and working with different people.
A friendly and supportive place
All the lecturers are friendly and extremely supportive, they are all approachable and will help you with any problems you may have.
I have met many people and become good friends with fellow students from all over the world and different walks of life.
Derby is a great place to study and I would highly recommend it because of the fantastic support.
