Winning the award
I was extremely surprised and very happy to win the award. It's a lovely end to my University career.
Why Derby?
I chose to study at Derby as it offered the course I was interested and I liked the look of the University and city as a whole. I've met lots of different people and made new friends. My studies have helped me to have a background knowledge relating to Business which stands me in good stead at work. I had a very successful work placement at Toyota and I'd advise any potential students to make the most of all of the activities on offer at Derby to get a well-rounded experience.
What next?
I'm currently working at Toyota as a Trainee Specialist - I am on their Graduate scheme. I've been able to use knowledge gained from my time at Derby in my current job, and I'm looking forward to remaining with Toyota for the foreseeable future and developing my skills further.
