Why I chose Derby
While studying my undergraduate degree at Derby, I decided to continue on to a masters course in Human Resource Management. I had no doubt in my mind that I would stay on at Derby as I have found it to be a friendly and supportive learning environment. I am certain that the qualifications I will obtain when I graduate will help me to succeed in my future career.
My international experience
As an international student I found it very helpful that all the lecturers are extremely supportive and friendly. Coming to a place you have never been before is a big challenge. However, I was made to feel very welcome by all the staff at Derby.
My time on the course
The course provides me with the theoretical knowledge to people management. I have been introduced to the way in which business' HR Function operates and how HR is structured in an organisation.
