The Creative Exchange at the University of Derby is running a series of exciting and inspiring media courses and development opportunities.
This will take the form of half day introductory taster sessions and a five day comprehensive course covering 'Film & TV' and 'Photography' professions.
Taster Sessions:
- Digital photography
- Outdoor portrait and landscape photography
- Photo manipulation using Adobe Photoshop
- Radio presentation
- Digital illustration
- Web design
- Film making
- Video camera skills
5 Day Film Making and Photography Courses:
We are also running five week (one day per week) Creative media training courses which will include:
Day 1 Digital photography foundation
Day 2 Photographic studio practice and portrait workshop
Day 3 Location and landscape workshop
Days 4 & 5 Post production Photoshop and digital printing
Day 1 Script breakdown,shot Selection, storyboarding, scheduling of film shoot
Days 2 & 3 Working with crew and actors, sound recording considerations, shot selection, shooting for the edit and shooting style
Days 4 & 5 Online/Offline editing,editing for dramatic impact, sound editing/design, sound dubbing
Courses will take place at the University of Derby, Markeaton Street site. There will be an opportunity to find out more about the courses and opportunities available for continued learning and development that could lead to future careers or self-employment.
